un pensamiento para ti...

First of all...
Ok, let me first share my current peeves... I'm really into TVB serials nowadays especially with a hunk by the name of Kevin Cheng Kar Wing. Am currently watching Slim Chances, one of Kevin's older dramas before he gained popularity last year with Split Second and Hard Fate. Oh, btw, have I told you that Hard Fate's a really good serial? Go rent it! Am also currently watching a Japanese drama called China's Last Princess now showing on Starhub Cable Ch 56. Quite refreshing considering it's a Japanese production set in the backdrop of the Sino-Japanese War and talking about Pu Yi's brother Pu Jie. Was a little apprehensive as to how they would portray their own people in such a historical period, but was relieved that they were pretty objective in this area and were careful to emphasize that this is about the love story between Pu Jie and his Japanese wife Hiro after all. But hahaha, a few glaring factual mistakes which was listed down by this sharp-eyed netizen... ^o^. Oh yes, weird Mandarin from the leads too, but I'll come to that... Will probably write a mini review or something in my blog one of these days. Other than that, it really is a nice show.
Another one of my current favourite past-times.... visiting forums and digging my big fat nose into them. I used to be a regular at BYJ4U but now as my Bae Yong-jun fever has kind of subsided, I'm currently a regular at the SPCNET forums (P-Chan is my nick over there!). Come visit! Lots of stuff about TV and movies and others.
On the personal level, school has started and work is pouring in. Have a presentation on William James, father of modern psychology, on Mon and the thing is, I still haven't got a clue what to talk about. Still in the Chinese New Year mood and will have to drag my butt down to the NUS library tomorrow to do some research. Anyway, library's not open these 2 days...
Yes!!! CNY!!! My favourite festival of the year! All the joyous atmosphere, the food, the bustling, the new clothings and decorations, the red packets.... Ahhhh.... Too bad it's all coming to an end. But must have put on like 2 to 3 KG over the week... DARN!!!!!!
