Ok, now this is stupid... It's 3am in the morning and I'm here at the computer all because I got inflicted 4 bites by a hungry mosquito! 3 on my face and 1 on my wrist! Have turned off the air-con, sprayed the room with Baygone, and am now waiting for the smell to disperse... Poor bro still sleeping soundly in the room... hee* Can't help it, he'll kill me if I wake him up and say, "eh, got mosquito lah, sleep somewhere else leh..."

Wonder if my brother got any bites...? Hopefully Bygone will kill that wretched mosquito!!!!

With all that high-profile news abt dengue fever and seeing how my mum suffered the last time, and how Paw's bf Ber suffered just recently from it, am now worried that I'll be the next one. Guess that's part of it that is causing the insomnia now. Must tell mum to throw away all the water in our potted plants in the house, for the flowers and the pussy willow. Sigh, a little too late for all these, actually. Been thinking of it for a while now, just kept forgetting to tell her. Also can't be bothered to change water cos may be easy for the flowers but not for the pussy willow with all the decorations and stuff... Anyway, it's not the first time we've had pots of water in the house for our plants!

Btw, have I ever told u that our estate was once labelled as a "dengue zone" cos a few cases arose within a short period of time? There was even a large banner at the entrance to our estate announcing that... The authorities found that it came from a house whose owner had been away for a while so lots of accumulated water there... excellent breeding ground.

Please... let that wretched mosquito NOT be an aedes mosquito....
