Everytime I walk into the Japanese food section of Junction 8's NTUC, I am always tempted to buy one of those authentic Japanese instant food just to try. The prices are not cheap at all (at least compared to other, more common instant noodles ), but today I gave in and bought one bowl-udon for dinner.


Look at the lovely little flower-fish cakes floating in the soup. The udon was soft and spongy also, almost like the type you get in Japanese resturants.
