un pensamiento para ti...

to brighten a shit*y week...
It's really been a shit*y week... Ok, maybe not all of it but definitely has made the week that has just past very very shit*y.
Well, most obvious was from Friday. Appraisals are never nice things to go into. Sure, it's aim is at improving you for your organization, but heck, it was like "you better buck up or else u'll have hell here you worthless insignificant insect".
Then I was supposed to have a meeting after the appraisal but my meeting partner went out for a home visit and wasn't back till 12pm. And I was not mobile while I was there cos most of my work are at the centres and I needed desperately that day to go to the centre to help in an important case. So anyway, when we finally ended the meeting it was obvious that I could not make it down to the center in time, so it was more and more liaising on the phone to explain to training officers and the manager why I couldn't go and what to do. Then I headed straight to yet another centre just in time for a counselling session with a client which ended very disturbingly...
Then today, I went to the Australian Uni open house to check out my chances at a Masters in psychology. Turns out that with my very poor honours degree, there isn't a slightest chance to get into a Masters program, even if I may be armed with loads of practical and relevant work experiences. I can't even get myself into a graduate diploma course. What the f*ck???? Maybe I shouldn't have even tried my chances with an honours cos actually, if I had left with a degree I would have performed reasonably well. Now that I did my honours, my life has gone straight to hell with it. Not a chance for me. That's it. Thank you, we can't help you. Bye bye.
If this is the case then I'll have to consider a career switch now. Without a masters I can't go anywhere in this line.
So how to brighten my shitty life? Maybe a good old brand of slapstick comedy on a variety show with Rain's sleek dance moves can do it...
Told my friend once that even though I'm not a Rain fan (I don't even know any of his songs), I think it's probably worth it to just watch his concert once just to see those dance moves live on stage. But with cheaper tickets of course (who's gonna pay almost $1000 to watch a concert???). Anyway, the first guy who danced in Rain's jacket wasn't as good as Rain, obviously, but he definitely can move somewhat too. But the 2nd guy was just hilarious!!
Did it brighten my day?
Nah, not much use...

I remember watching this many many months ago. I realised a few things;
1. Rain can really dance
2. It was so funny I choked on the water that I was drinking and still do
3. even if I didn't know korean I understood what was happening perfectly
Slapstick humour; the universal language
