Well the Corrs are beautiful and the brother is quite good looking. I must admit they nailed the stares and the mannerisms of the 3 girls, especially the one who played Andrea Corr but frankly not very funny. Ant & Dec weren't really very good as comedien or doing impersonations. This you have give it to Robin Williams (who did a very good impression of French and the football referees), Jim Carrey (did you see the Horatio Caine impression? Spot on! It's in Youtube, find under Jim Carrey) and of course Ben Stiller (I think he can make a career by being Tom Cruise - perfect impersonation eventhough looks wise so different-he even did Bruce Willis which was also spot on).

But for pure stand up comic, British wins hands down with their general observations of their own kind and French. Rowan Atkinson's live show many years ago is still as funny today. I am sure you can find it in youtube. Ricky Gervais also though he tends to mumble. I like British comedy better because I find American comedy more personal attacks.

In terms of impressions, Ant & Dec definitely aren't as good as Jim Carrey or Ben Stiller or others (Yes!!! I did watch Ben Stiller's impression of Tom Cruise and it was spot-on!!). But I guess the fun really lies in the fact that, well, they're juat having fun doing it. Sounds pretty lame but seeing as this was a live programme with live audience (kids, to be exact, in this case), I think it is always a joy to be able to watch hosts and comedians play a character there and then, add their own life into it and have fun doing it at the same time.

I do agree with you on the difference between British comedy and American comedy, and I do prefer British comedy for that too.

Atkinson's live show? Gotta search for that one!

The Atkinson live show is about 2 decades old but still as funny. You can;'t buy it but the torrent...really worth the download and don't worry, perfectly safe...

This should be the one, not sure complete or not but since it is dvd rip it must be good quality. But demonoid is having some troubles lately, you can still download but slower. YOU MUST download this one. One of the best skit was the opening monologue, a welcome by the devil himself, and he likes to make skist about teachers and headmasters, all very funny. The tips on dating is also good but the last one, the teacher calling the students' names were hilarious.

Ricky Gervais
Not as funny but got some really good moments, like his take on God, evolution and the interpretation of the bible and also his ode to animal documentaries and of course David Attenborough which was really funny. I'll try to find the torrent for you. I forgot where I downloaded it.

Robin Williams
Also a very funny one but BUT the last part is really X-rated and not very funny since I don't quite enjoy such vulgar jokes. But the earlier ones on French, football, Osama Bin Laden were pure genius.
