coincidence?
Yesterday, I was reading the bilingual mypaper peacefully with a nice coffee bun for breakfast, when suddenly a sense of deja-vu hit me as I turned the page to the Entertainment section.
Click on the picture to enlarge.
Doesn't that layout of Andrew McCarthy then-and-now look eeriely similar to a certain post of mine?

someone has been reading your post!!
That's a creepy thought! And I mean... Andrew McCarthy... Who would have thought of running a story on the newspaper about him at this time?
He's in Lipstick Jungle. No wonder he looked so familiar when I saw him on TV a few days ago and suddenly read your article!! Do you think it is possible these newspaper guys took the shortcut? Like just take the photos from anywhere they can find, sometimes even the text? Or could it be in the world of internet, this poor actor has only TWO pictures available for use???
The reporter credited the source of the pictures INTERNET.... Yup, definitely the shortcut. I wonder if there will be any legal implications for newspaper journalists to simply credit the use of photos from the Internet?
But no leh, this actor certain has more pictures available online lor... Just type "Andrew McCarthy" on Google Image Search and you'll find so many pictures of him!
The more I analyze it the more creepy it becomes. Has someone really been seeing my blog???
Recently I had to design a card for my sis and I discovered nope, you can't simply take pics off the internet and just credit internet for distribution like magazines. There are royalty free pictures (where you pay one time fee for that picture and you use it again and again and again) and there's the royalty fee which means you pay each time you use. No one really checks but if checked yes the paper can be sued, more so pictures of celebrities. Very touchy issue.
Of course someone been reading your blog Pearl. It is not hard to find.
