Pearl I envy you. I know it will be difficult and you could be lonely without your family and usual friends but think of this as a once in a lifetime adventure that not many could enjoy. It is far better to learn from travel than from reading books as an old chinese proverb very wisely said and think of all the new friends, experience as well as a lovely country to live in. You can come home when it is time to come home but meanwhile go have a blast. But do be careful in a foreign land, don't get cheated or make friends that will pull you down. You're a sensible lady and I have no doubt you will adjust and find your own way there. Who knows, maybe you won't want to leave!

i'm sure you're aware that you can always turn back. but is turning back what you really want to do?
