internet connection affects everyone in the country. my company couldn't function almost totally with the disruption. whereas loss of lives is not affecting us in a direct manner.
Sad but true. Where there is a chance of losing money that's where all the attention goes to. Here is one prime example. All the casinos have mega backup power to make sure all their slot machines do not stop. Their emergency backup systems are probably tested more often than the ones used in the hospitals.
