mindless ramblings...
I've been pretty quiet on my blog lately, huh?
Well, actually, I haven't. I did write up a few posts over the week. However, after they appeared on my website for less than a day, I decided to delete them. Why? Well, controversial stuff, which I suppose at the end of the day, I thought I'd better not publicise my contempt for certain things (thou they were not targetted at particular incidents or people, be assured). Anyhow, I must be getting more and more afraid to voice my opinions about certain things in my blog, especially how I've seen blogs been scrutinized left, right and inside-out. Actually, my blog is non-searchable, meaning u can't find my blog through the blogger search engine. But u can't be too sure about the mysterious workings of the internet, can u? Still, I'm keeping my blog cos it gives me the opportunity to engage in mindless ramblings about myself which I usually don't in the real world. I mean, where else do u get a chance to tell people (albeit 'imaginary audiences') about little insignificant details about ur life that may mean something to u but bores the s*it out of others?
So here it goes, insignificant details of Pearl's life.
School's been picking up and I can feel the heat after only 3 weeks of lessons. Everything seem to be happening so fast that I just can't seem to adapt for now. I mean, it makes me feel like I'm becoming more and more of a slacker... I try really hard to obtain the notes study them but still, nothing seems to go into my head. In fact, I seem restless and listless most of the time - that is NO GOOD.
Maybe it's the morning lectures that makes me listless and restless the entire day. Yes, for 3 days in a week, I wake at 6am to reach school at 8am for lessons, and there are 2 days where I stay on in school until late evening for other activities (that sportsbuffet thingy, to make my $60 worth). In addition to that, I've been meeting up with the CLDDS people as the momentum of our production is picking up and there are many things to settle, not to mention the writing of the script with Jimson which takes up the whole of Saturday. We've been making pretty good progress with the script so far, having written 5 scenes out of 22 (sounds little but it actually quite good la), but with him being so busy with his new job and me getting busy with school work (the amount of readings are a killer!!), I'm getting concerned if we can actually get the completed script out in time...
So is it all worth it? To spend that time on script-writing while being busy with school work? Well, to me, yes. As I said, this is a dream of mine that I know if I dun fulfil now, I'll never get the same chance anymore. Besides, it's actually fun writing the script, where we actually act out and vocalize all the dialogue as we are writing it in McDonalds. I've got all sorts of ideas for the direction, props, lighting, music... It's really a nice break away from work.
So yeah,
