~ Gabriel Garcia Marquez

tick...tick...tick...tick...tick...

Like I told my friends, I've been experiencing the 'Sunday blues'. Sunday is my only day of rest, and the thought of every minute of it disappearing into the void with every tick of the clock makes me depressed.

The one of the only things that perk me up now is rehearsals. I enjoy the experience of playing someone else, of guiding my actors in getting into the right mode, and of seeing the script come to life. And above all, I like these sessions simply because I can have lots of fun with the cast and crew. Just last Saturday, we joked and played around in between rehearsals, and then joked and played some more during a lunch gathering at Seoul Garden where I suddenly felt closer to the production team, most of whom are my juniors.

I'll definitely feel a deep sense of loss when the production finally comes to an end.

Pearl, you sound like a workaholic. You seem to feel guilty for every second that you are not productive. Stop doing that!!! Remember, you are entitle to be unproductive and simply relaxed on your day off. For me it's been work, work, work, rush, rush, rush, deadlines, deadlines and deadlines for each working day. So a full day off each week is heaven. Yes, it's been a while but I am back to reading your daily ramps.
