Argh!! Two weeks of vacation in beautiful Portugal, Spain and Istanbul... GONE! Poof! Just like that!!

Sigh... back to reality....

Had much fun over there. More so, I thought the tour group itself made a difference in turning the holiday into a fruitful and enjoyable one. Met many nice people there, made many new friends, gained at least one 'relative' who was really our tour manager whom I called "Uncle" out of playfulness, on the account that he took care of us like a mother-hen.

Anyhow, come Monday, it's back to work, work, work, work, work....

In other, more invigorating, news, Spanish classes will be resuming next week following the long absence of my teacher who was reportedly unwell for the last few weeks. Hope she's fine... Salsa class also ended during my leave to Europe, although my buddies have signed up for a new class so I suppose I'll be joining them as well. Kickboxing is still on, and am looking forward to returning to class!

In a casual conversation with Uncle, he strongly recommended the Toastmasters as a form of self-improvement and to meet new people (as he was concerned that I am still unattached till this day). Realized that Toastmasters really could be a useful thing to put onto my resume in my future career plans. So perhaps Toastmasters could be something I'll be looking into in the near future.
