I though you like Edward Norton? Anyway I love Ang Lee's hulk. I thought it was a very good movie and filmed in a very comic book way but in a good way that pays homage to comic books. Eric Bana was simply delicious and whilst I never quite like the actress whose name I kinda forgot, I thought she was ok in there. I thought hulk was so tragic there. Not sure about Norton's version.
I do like Edward Norton, just can't imagine him as the Hulk...
By the way, he was the co-scriptwriter on this project.
I always feel that the biggest mistake with Ang Lee's Hulk is that the distributer marketed it as an action movie, when in reality the action only kicks in 42 minutes into the film. People go into the cinema expecting to watch an action movie, only to be forced to watch 42 minutes worth of Eric Bana's emotional roller coaster. It's about the expectations, at the end of the day, I guess. Frankly, all the good action bits were already in the trailer.
I thought the movie was far deeper than just an action film so I suppose that's why it failed. Yes I do know norton is the co-scriptwriter. In fact some said he had such diva demands on the set. I find it hard to believe this sweet looking guy could be so diva, so demanding.
Really? Diva demands?
What kind?
I believe he must have had lots of demands on set, being the kid who had asked his teacher what's his motivation is in a role in a school play. But diva-type demands? That's interesting...
Not like big trailer and all but I read about making so many changes to the script that he became co-scriptwriter. In fact the guys on the set was quite pissed but put up with it. Well he is a very good actor so demanding for a better script is not that terrible. Unless he wants all cameras on his face and all.
PEARL!! I just saw your profile page and your occupation now is psychologist? Like those with a chair for the patients, listening to them about their troubles and all and prescribing meds???
Haha that came as a shock... :P Uh, no Funn... As a psychologist I can't prescribe meds (only psychiatrists can do that). But yeah, my main job scope is counselling, behaviour management and conducting various forms of psychotherapy. If I detect any clients with mental health conditions that would require medical intervention, I'll make referrals to psychiatrists.
