... no, not by the eyebrow plucker Steven Lim, hahaha but at Hollywood Secrets at Paragon. Thanks to Sini's recommendation, I finally got my eyebrows shaped for the very first time.

Problem was, in my bid to save time and money, I've been trying to tidy my bushy eyebrows by shaving them myself using the 'L-shaped' blade. Turns out to be a big no-no, as noted by the beautician, Wing. Because of the shaving, the top of my brows have turned into stubble and now they somehow just can't grow out. According to Wing, when trimming eyebrows the top MUST NOT be touched. Only the bottom of the eyebrows are trimmed. So, after she was done, my arch looked incomplete as there was a gap in part of it. Had to invest in an eyebrow pencil to fill in the gap (which costs more than the shaping. Dang!). Meantime, Wing suggested that I apply either brandy, (yes, you read correctly, it's that alcoholic beverage) or a brand of products that help eyelashes to grow, on the missing portions of the eyebrow to stimulate the growth of the hair.

Wished I could take a picture of the completed eyebrows and post it up, but the digital camera's with my brother.... Maybe later ;)

So, there u go, some tips for those unacquainted to the world of make-up, just like me.

Just hope I can up-keep that shape, have to start working on my eyebrow drawing and plucking skills. Now I know how the legend of urban women spending so much time just preparing to go out began.... -_-"
