CB's dancing
Yup, Funn asked to see Christian Bale's dancing after hearing his singing. I dun have the means to burn the clips from the Newsies DVD, so I'm uploading 2 clips which I found on the Internet. These clips are actually so-called 'fan-videos' in which fans make a montage of scenes of their favourite actor/movie/TV show etc. against a background of a song.
NOTE: I have lost the link to the sites where I downloaded these from so I have no idea who the original authors are and where they come from. If you do know where the clips come from and the original authors, please leave a message in the comments section and I will give due credit. Thank you!
These clips are extremely well-made. However, if you're looking at the dancing featured here, it still doesn't beat watching those scenes directly from the movie.
Clip 1 - This is more a tribute to the lead character, Jack Kelly, played by Bale. There's almost no dancing featured in this clip except for an fuller-length scene of Bale's solo. But this is a very nicely done clip which is my favourite of all fan videos I've seen.
Clip 2 - This one features the Newsies cast in general, more group dancing, little of Bale's dancing, but it gives a good idea of the movie. There are some corny scenes of murder inserted in the clip which u know are definitely not from the actual movie. These corny scenes are actully from Blood Drips Heavily on Newsies Square. Blood-what???? Read this review to find out all about it (scroll down to 'Interesting Trivia 2')

Thanks pearl!!
Pearl that clip called Cowboy, who is singing that song? Is it CB?
I could hardly believe what age was he? 17? His face never change. Some stars look very different but he looks the same from 13 to now. For a moment I thought it was some cowboy movie but these are from Newsies? Sorry to ask since read your review but can't remember much. Is it a musical OR a movie about a bunch of people doing musical?
Nah, quite sure that isn't him singing (or rapping for that matter) :)
In Newsies his character is also nicknamed 'Cowboy' cos he idolizes the lives of the cowboys in the wild west, which is why he is always seen in cowboy gear. The movie is set in late 19th century New York, and it is a musical itself, NOT a movie about a musical.
Yup, he hasn't changed much, though I must say at 17 he still looks very much like the young boy in Empire of the Sun rather than Batman.
