But really, as shocked as I am, I must say... Korean plastic surgeons are excellent!

Young phenomenon Boa, (was 17 when she had her 1st hit album) who was the first Korean to gain unprecendented popularity in Japan

My current favourite, Lee Bo Young aka Princess Sonhwa of Seo Dong Yo. Even she had plastic surgery!!

Jeon Ji Hyun aka My Sassy Girl

No idea who this is but she looks like she really had some extensive work done...

Not too sure who this is too and definitely some extensive work done also...

Son Ye Jin from Summer Scent. If I were a long lost friend I definitely would not recognize her...

Funn Lim said...: I don't even think their mothers recognise them. I must say though they do surgery to enhance or make themselves prettier but Japanese, they do to make themselves look pan asian or eurasian.

All did eyes, nose, eye lids, lips, cheekbones and of course make up, a nice smile helps. All of them look so grumpy in their school pictures, almost manly. You're sure none of them were men before?; 10:49 PM
Pearl said...: Funn, there is one Korean actress/singer who used to be a man... Hmm... her (or his) name is... I can't remember... I only know the surname was 'Ha' ( 河), if I'm not wrong. She was quite popular in Taiwan for a while, but I don't know where she is now...
