While looking for the video for 海阔天空, I found this other MV version of the song, probably filmed by TVB.
Quite nicely done, this one. Very stylish. And it actually ties in nicely with the atmosphere of the song, particularly the first sentence.
The one I posted in the previous post is the very common version which you can easily find in KTVs, VCDs and DVDs. This new one, however, is one that I have totally not seen before. Totally new footage! Anyone can shed light onto the origins of this version? Definitely from around the same time cos Ka Kui was with them. In fact, they were lip-synching to this one as well! So not made up by piecing old footage together.
My only doubts of this being TVB's version is that I know for one thing that TVB makes horrible-looking MVs. This one looked more like what would come out of a recording company, as compared to the common version. That common version would have been more plausibly by TVB, if not for the fact that the Warner Music label is always on the top left-hand corner of the video.
I like this one better. Doesn't feel as dated as the common one.
